Welcome Class of 2028 and welcome back to all of our returning students! We are excited to have you here and are pleased to offer a variety of activities to make your first few weeks on campus fun, educational, and most importantly- welcoming! We will be offering a variety of programming August 17th through August 31st. You can view our full schedule at the link below or look at the detailed schedule at the bottom of our page. Check back to this site often as events are added and updated frequently as we approach the Fall semester!
Summertime in Louisiana means inclement weather happens. Be sure to follow and on Instagram for weather updates that may affect Cajun Craze events!
Cajun Craze Waiver
All students participating in Cajun Craze must fill out a one-time waiver, which is open to fill out . It is highly suggested to fill this out ahead of time so that you don't have to worry about it when you arrive to different events. It only takes a minute!
Parking/Shuttle Information
During week one (8/17-8/24), commuter students can park at Cajun Field and take the shuttle to campus OR there is free parking available at:
- Girard Park Tower (floors 1-3)
- EK Long gravel lot
- 101 Mildred St
- 119 E. St. Mary
- 498 Brook Ave
Starting 8/25, regular parking rules are in effect, which means the above lots are permit and/or paid parking only. Free parking is still available at Cajun Field. View the transit schedule for more information.

Bourgeois Hall Rec Center
The Rec Center is located at Bourgeois Hall at 225 Cajundome Blvd. There are an array of activities for students to enjoy such as the Student Fitness Center, Aquatic Center, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and multiple studios! Be sure to check out Bourgeois Hall during Cajun Craze and bring your Cajun Card for entry.

Kampus FM
Tune in to KRVS' KampusFM 88.7 HD2 stream for a live broadcast during Cajun Craze. UL Lafayette students will provide real-time information from across campus. You will hear traffic updates, information about upcoming Cajun Craze events, and music!
