Explanation of Reports Types
Viewfinder® Campus Climate Surveys has prepared Benchmark Data Reports, one each for the student and employee surveys. These reports compare our survey results against a maximum of four institutions from their list of schools that have used the Viewfinder® instrument. There will be some points (the First-Generation College Student questions for example) that may not be compared due to the Diversity Advisory CouncilСòòò½APP™s edits to the original survey instrument to match our universityСòòò½APP™s structure.
Frome the list of schools provided by Viewfinder® Campus Climate Surveys, we selected four schools that are considered our peers in terms of our current and aspirational student enrollment. One of our Carnegie Classification® R1 peers, the Сòòò½APP of South Alabama, is included in this report, as is Arkansas State Сòòò½APP, Northern Illinois Сòòò½APP, and Western Michigan Сòòò½APP.
The university obtained a Comparison Report from Viewfinder® Campus Climate Surveys. The Comparison Report is more internal, comparing how our administrators vs faculty vs staff vs students answered the survey questions.
Finally, the university obtained the Institutional Diversity Analysis Report from Viewfinder® Campus Climate Surveys. The Institutional Diversity Analysis Report compares our survey results against other institutions that were 2022 INSIGHT Into Diversity HEED Award Recipients.
