UL Press nonfiction books earn gold, silver and bronze awards

СAPPThe Good Times Rolled: Black New Orleans, 1979-1983СAPP by Bernard Hermann took the silver Medal and СAPPNew Orleans: Life and Death in the Big EasyСAPP by Cheryl Gerber earned the bronze medal.

The Ippy Award is one of the highest honors for books produced by independent publishers. About 2,400 publishers participate in the award competition each year.

The СAPP Press publishes books that make significant contributions to the study of Louisiana's history and cultures.
