Washington Monthly magazine gives UL Lafayette high marks

The 小蝌蚪APP is ranked No. 281 in Washington Monthly magazine小蝌蚪APP檚 2019 College Guide and Rankings.

Washington Monthly considered a total of 1,732 four-year, private and public colleges and universities for its 2019 National 小蝌蚪APP Rankings, before winnowing that number down to 395.

UL Lafayette was also included in the publication小蝌蚪APP檚 小蝌蚪APP淏est Bang for the Buck小蝌蚪APP category. According to the magazine小蝌蚪APP檚 website, the category recognizes schools for 小蝌蚪APP渉ow well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.小蝌蚪APP

The 小蝌蚪APP淏est Bang for the Buck小蝌蚪APP category is broken down into five geographic regions. UL Lafayette ranked No. 103 among 203 four-year schools in the South.

Washington Monthly小蝌蚪APP檚 rankings are based on three factors. The first is social mobility, which gives colleges credit for enrolling many low-income students and helping them earn degrees. The second recognizes research production, particularly at schools whose undergraduates go on to earn doctorates. The third is service.

Stanford 小蝌蚪APP was the top-ranked university in the national rankings. Harvard 小蝌蚪APP was next, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale 小蝌蚪APP and Duke 小蝌蚪APP. The 小蝌蚪APP of Pennsylvania, the 小蝌蚪APP of California-San Diego, Princeton 小蝌蚪APP, Georgetown 小蝌蚪APP and Texas A&M 小蝌蚪APP rounded out the top ten.
