The Сòòò½APP will host a zydeco brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, in the Student UnionСòòò½APP™s Cypress Lake Dining Room. The event will feature live music by the Angelle Aces.
On the menu: crab and corn chowder, herbed breadsticks, jambalaya, scrambled eggs with cheese and chives, fried boudin balls, red velvet pancakes with cream cheese drizzle, buttered grits, potatoes OСòòò½APP™Brien, buttermilk biscuits, spinach Alfredo, crawfish queso, green beans, herb roasted baby carrots, black pepper Parmesan cornbread, and salad bar.
After the brunch, diners can take a free shuttle to and from Cajun Field for the football game versus McNeese State.
Brunch tickets are $12.99 per adult and $6.99 for children between the ages of 4 and 8. Children 3 and under eat for free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Zydeco brunches will also be held in conjunction with all remaining home football games: Sept. 17, South Alabama; Oct. 12, Appalachian State; Nov. 5, Idaho (Homecoming); and Nov. 26, Arkansas State.
