���APP�My experience in the Cajun & Creole Studies program has given me a sense of self-confidence because, being a Cajun and growing up in the heart of Cajun country, I have a unique experience and knowledge that I can bring to the table, especially in the world of Francophone studies.���APP�

���APP�I think the French program at UL Lafayette is in a unique position that no other American university can quite match. We, as French-learning students, have access to a unique kind of French that is spoken nowhere else in the world.���APP�

���APP�My first semester of my freshman year I was in the first Arabic class at UL Lafayette ���APP� quite an honor, I might say ���APP� and I just fell in love with it immediately.���APP�

���APP�Anyone can benefit from developing reasoning and critical thinking skills and learning to see things from multiple perspectives. I also chose philosophy to have a better sense and of who I am and what I believe."

С���APP�UL LafayetteС���APP�s mechanical engineering program is renowned across the South. And what better language to learn for engineering than German? Germany has some of the most well-known companies in machinery and automotives in the world.С���APP�  

���APP�A lot of people think learning German is intimidating, but Dr. Huey immediately destroys that illusion with her patience, enthusiasm, and experience.���APP�

���APP�I founded my tennis academy back in my hometown to continue to teach great values that I learned at UL Lafayette ���APP� dedication, teamwork and, the most important of all, like former coach Holden would say: follow your passions.���APP�

���APP�That���APP�s one thing that I really love the most is that no matter who you talk to on campus, they���APP�re always going to be open minded and wanting to talk to you and help you out.���APP�

���APP�I work with departments across McIlhenny Company to make sure that the software and databases being used are functioning correctly.���APP�

���APP�Spanish is the first thing in my life I���APP�ve felt passionate about to the extent that I want to pursue it as a career. UL Lafayette provided me with the ability to explore that passion in an environment where exploration is encouraged.���APP�
