���APP�My experience at UL Lafayette has helped me apply my Spanish skills within a global company. The creative perspective I gained from these classes is something I apply to projects I manage today at Apple.���APP�

���APP�The elementary education program allowed me to walk into real classrooms as early as my freshman year. From the get-go, I was able to observe great teachers and get ideas from their classrooms that still help me today.���APP�

���APP�I like the nursing program because it���APP�s very hands-on from such an early start. You start going to clinicals your second semester sophomore year. You immediately get to start going into the hospital and find out if you���APP�re actually going to like being a nurse.���APP�

���APP�UL Lafayette prides itself on being open to other cultures and communities. I had professors from France, Italy, India, and South Korea. These were important experiences to my development as a young adult and ultimately as a professional.���APP�

���APP�The best parts about the architecture program were the collaborative studios and the studio culture. My classmates became like family while in school.���APP�

���APP�There were several people I met in class who gave a guest lecture that I ended up working with on a professional level once I entered my career. Having their business card already in my inventory made it easier to bridge those connections later down the road.���APP�

���APP�Not only has my experience in the psychology department helped me to understand people with intellectual disabilities, but it has also taught me that my educational background in psychology can be applied anywhere, especially in the realm of teaching.���APP�

���APP�They always say to do what you liked to do as a child, and I spent lots of time teaching stuffed animals in my bedroom.���APP�

���APP�I am in a position to be able to expose our students to our unique French dialect and culture. One of the reasons that parents choose French immersion for their kids is due to their desire for their children to learn their heritage language, Louisiana French.���APP�
