���APP�The idea that I would get to study so intensely the subjects and questions that flooded my mind daily ���APP� how to govern a society, what kinds of governments certain societies favor, how specific policies affect these societies, and the philosophies behind those policies ���APP� I couldn���APP�t wait to enroll and begin my journey with higher education in this department.���APP�

���APP�Not only has my experience in the psychology department helped me to understand people with intellectual disabilities, but it has also taught me that my educational background in psychology can be applied anywhere, especially in the realm of teaching.���APP�

���APP�The supportive professors and the initiative to involve undergraduates in research are my favorite parts about the biology program. The entire department truly encourages and provides many opportunities for undergraduates to increase their repertoire of skills and critical thinking abilities by engaging in research.���APP�

���APP�I do feel like I���APP�m getting a more personal education here, especially in the geology program. Our professors know us all personally by name. I really feel at home with them.���APP�

���APP�I love that I���APP�m learning something that is going to be so useful. Economics is one of the most versatile business degrees because it teaches you how the business world works.���APP�

���APP�The industrial sector can be made safer for the environment, and although a peculiar route, I believe that chemical engineering holds the key to an eco-friendly industry in the future. I hope to better our environment in any way I can, and I believe this is the best major for that.���APP�

���APP�A lot of people think learning German is intimidating, but Dr. Huey immediately destroys that illusion with her patience, enthusiasm, and experience.���APP�

���APP�It���APP�s all close-knit so you build these relationships and it���APP�s like a second family. There���APP�s a lot of opportunities, like with the conference, and there���APP�s internships. They���APP�re willing to give you opportunities to further yourself.���APP�

���APP�My decision to study environmental science stems from my childhood obsession with nature, plants, and being able to spend time outdoors. These are natural resources that I believe every human should have the opportunity to enjoy. Studying environmental science gives me the opportunity to leave the world better than I found it."

���APP�The Department of History, Geography, and Philosophy has taught me scholarly independence, critical thinking, and problem solving.���APP�
