���APP�As a student-athlete, I have been granted countless opportunities to learn how to better myself and those around me. From time management to being captain of my team, I have learned so many life skills that I will be able to take with me as I graduate and go into the real world.���APP�

"UL Lafayette pushes us to bring more to the curriculum. The curriculum says to do this, but how can we do more? We want to add to and enhance our lessons. You can���APP�t just read a book about teaching ���APP� you have to get your hands dirty. It���APP�s not an easy career choice, and this program is not easy. It���APP�s worth it, though.���APP�

���APP�My experience in the Cajun & Creole Studies program has given me a sense of self-confidence because, being a Cajun and growing up in the heart of Cajun country, I have a unique experience and knowledge that I can bring to the table, especially in the world of Francophone studies.���APP�

���APP�I think the French program at UL Lafayette is in a unique position that no other American university can quite match. We, as French-learning students, have access to a unique kind of French that is spoken nowhere else in the world.���APP�

���APP�I chose to study criminal justice because the system has always fascinated me while growing up, and I want to be able to make a difference in my community.���APP�

���APP�The supportive professors and the initiative to involve undergraduates in research are my favorite parts about the biology program. The entire department truly encourages and provides many opportunities for undergraduates to increase their repertoire of skills and critical thinking abilities by engaging in research.���APP�

С���APP�My passion for reading and writing has fueled my interest in English education, and I hope to inspire a similar sense of passion in my future students. I am excited to begin using my love for reading and writing to instill literacy skills that will assist my students in reaching their full potential.С���APP� 

���APP�I do feel like I���APP�m getting a more personal education here, especially in the geology program. Our professors know us all personally by name. I really feel at home with them.���APP�

С���APP�Everything I have learned in the program has helped me in my internships and will help me in my career. Plus, the program sends a group of students to the largest petroleum exposition in North America, and itС���APP�s a great opportunity for students to network with industry people.С���APP� 

���APP�Financial aid has taken a lot of stress off of me. Knowing that my college is paid for ���APP� and then some ���APP� has really helped. I���APP�m going to college, well equipped with everything I need.���APP�
