���APP�I know there are so many different things in dance that I could try to do: I could take up ballroom, salsa, teach at a high school in Japan. There���APP�s so much variety in dance, and most people don���APP�t really know that. But when you���APP�re in college, they open those doors for you.���APP�

���APP�In the process of developing yourself as a designer, you learn various skills and knowledge of manufacturing that can lead you anywhere you want to go, and that���APP�s what I enjoyed about the industrial design program at UL Lafayette.���APP�

���APP�I work with departments across McIlhenny Company to make sure that the software and databases being used are functioning correctly.���APP�

���APP�I chose industrial design as my major because I am equally mathematical and artistic. It's to think about having a future where I can create useful art that solves problems for people. There are endless paths I can take with an industrial design degree.���APP�

���APP�The day I decided that interior design was where I wanted to be was the first time I actually felt excited for college.���APP�

���APP�The dance program at UL Lafayette showed me there are a million opportunities for work in the field of dance outside of the realm of performance, including teaching, choreographing, arts administration, dance history, lighting, and costuming. UL Lafayette showed me how to find these opportunities, network, and market myself as a working professional in the field of dance no matter which avenue I decide on.���APP�

���APP�Anybody that wants a solid foundation in the music industry and is interested in it, I would definitely suggest looking at the music business program.���APP�

���APP�I���APP�m learning a lot. I already feel like I���APP�m more comfortable in the classroom, and I���APP�m finding my teaching style. I���APP�m very happy that I get full-year student-teaching experience ���APP� you get to know the students better, and now they know me, they trust me. They understand that I���APP�m also learning, and they want to help me run the class as best I can.���APP�

���APP�There are so many youthful and energetic people who want to work and make a difference, and that truly inspires me. From all the students in my studios, I see how dedicated they are, how responsible they are, how really driven they are to do this, to our professors who all have completely different backgrounds. It all comes together in this wonderful place.���APP�

���APP�I love being a theatre major because I���APP�m constantly faced with creative problem-solving and hands-on learning. Focusing on design and tech allows me to fulfill my passion of combining aesthetic sensibilities with very technical skills.���APP�
