С���APP�I chose to study sociology because I was always fascinated with the subject, ever since I took it in high school. I wanted to learn how society affects the way individuals think, act, and react to different issues. Since being in the program, I have become more passionate about sociology.С���APP� 

���APP�Our university consists of many different clubs, activities, and interests that brings students together and help them get involved. There are many different factors about UL Lafayette that met my ideal expectations of the perfect university to help me achieve my goals.���APP�

���APP�Spanish is the first thing in my life I���APP�ve felt passionate about to the extent that I want to pursue it as a career. UL Lafayette provided me with the ability to explore that passion in an environment where exploration is encouraged.���APP�

���APP�There are so many youthful and energetic people who want to work and make a difference, and that truly inspires me. From all the students in my studios, I see how dedicated they are, how responsible they are, how really driven they are to do this, to our professors who all have completely different backgrounds. It all comes together in this wonderful place.���APP�

���APP�I love being a theatre major because I���APP�m constantly faced with creative problem-solving and hands-on learning. Focusing on design and tech allows me to fulfill my passion of combining aesthetic sensibilities with very technical skills.���APP�

"I think a passion grows for a particular medium when you create with it because you begin to understand it more. You develop a respect for it and the artists that use it. At Fletcher Hall, you are constantly surrounded by artists and their work. I think that has a strong positive effect on creating that passion for the arts.���APP�

���APP�Instead of litigating in the court room, I���APP�m on the ground in various states working in the court of public opinion.���APP�

���APP�I loved how supportive the professors in my program were, truly making us feel supported every step of the way. I loved how each class promoted a sense of open-mindedness and taught us about facing adversity. I feel my program assisted me in learning about not just a future job field, but skills to utilize in relationships and friendships as well.���APP�

���APP�UL Lafayette really wants their students to succeed, so they put money into their students. Having scholarships from the ���APP makes me really proud because it���APP�s like I know they want me to finish ���APP� they want me to succeed.���APP�

���APP�It took me six years to finish school. I felt the need to give up at many different points in time, but I���APP�m really glad that I did finish and stuck through with my degree.���APP�
